The Recruitment Coordinator will conduct the recruitment and onboarding initiatives for the Driving Force Group of Companies. Under direction from the Talent Acquisition Consultant, this role will be responsible for working with the hiring managers to provide strategic support in the recruitment process and ensuring the proper setup and onboarding of new hires.

What You’ll Do
- Support Talent Acquisition Consultant in planning and executing recruitment strategy, including attending job fairs and open houses at various locations.
- Identify when recruitment challenges persist and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Consultant in proposing solutions.
- Compose job advertisements, post internally and externally on a variety of career websites that strategically makes sense for the position
- Conduct pre-screen interviews, setup and participate in interviews as requested by the hiring manager
- Complete background checks including references, security clearances, driver’s abstracts, and Kolbe/Print assessments (if required)
- Create new hire offer letters ensuring accuracy of compensation package as outlined per role
- Ensure new hires have completed all required onboarding steps and notify necessary departments
- Identify areas of improving efficiency and quality for recruiting high-turnover positions
- Responsible for conducting the 30-day check-ins with new hires and reporting results back to Manager
- Ensure proper documentation of new hire files
- Responsible for processing recruitment related invoices and managing the employee referral program

Accountabilities
- Successfully manage multiple priorities with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results
- Consistently follow established recruitment and onboarding processes
- High attention to detail when setting up new hires in HCM system
- Use service mindset and passion to serve our internal customers
- Adjust to ever changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

What You’ve Done
- Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources
- 4 - 5 years of experience in a recruitment related position
- Experience using an enterprise-scale Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Proficiency using the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Expertise in behavioral and situational based interviewing techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to get along with others and assert oneself with diplomacy
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and business writing skills
- Problem-solving: an aptitude for analyzing situations and formulating solutions
