THE COMPANY
POSITION
Reporting to the GM, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to join our team of highly motivated, fun-loving, challenge-seeking individuals who care for one another and for our clients. You will play an active role in leading the support team, designing and implementing standard operating procedures, systems management and office management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop a (small) support team
- Strong understanding of setting up and maintaining systems such as CRM, Accounting software, Order processing software, telephony, O365 and inhouse networks
- Strong ability to draft operating procedure documentation and workflow charts
- Produce financial reports and analysis on a prescribed basis and as required
- Manage order processing and accounts receivable
- Reconcile monthly expenses, credit card statements
- Record keeping maintenance both digital and physical
- Serve as the Office Manager
- Assist in the procurement of supplies for our offices
- Perform other Admin duties as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post secondary degree in Business or Operations Management
- 5+ years of experience working in an operations role
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of Excel is an asset.
- Well organized with the ability to work independently of direct manager oversight
- Acquire new knowledge rapidly, takes initiative, self-starter
- Passion for small entrepreneurial business
- Experience in a software business or with PxPlus is an asset
