Associate Director, Business Development
Location(s): Remote - Ontario
As a Sales Executive, you’ll deliver revenue growth through sales of our healthcare technology solutions and services to new and existing customers, in multiple areas within the healthcare technology space including; Health Plans, Health Systems, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Third Party Administrators & Pharmacy Benefit Administrators, Accountable Care Organizations across the following business lines: Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange, Drug Discount.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Individual Sales Quota: Develop business from new and existing customers_
- Annual quota assigned based on experience and assessment
- Lead full sales cycle: Sales Reps are the Quarterbacks of the team; paving the way and motivating the team across the finish line._
- Carry out demo(s), gather customer data and liaise with internal stakeholders to create presentation decks, materials, proposals and pricing, client reference introductions, executive leadership introductions, etc.
- Manage relationship between customer and internal stakeholders
- Close deals and maintain relationship for growth
- Industry Networking and Lead Generation_
- Develop revenue growth strategies (campaigns, events, networking opportunities)
- Attend industry conferences and events to represent SS&C, create business awareness and develop quality sales leads
- SS&C Enterprise Cross Sales_
- Collaborate with SS&C enterprise to identify ways to expand client partnerships across all business segments (6 total)
- Ongoing Pipeline Development_
- Developing contact database, relationship plans, and account development plans
Industry and SS&C Proficiency
- Leverage SS&C’s Learning and Development team for training tools to enhance industry knowledge to strengthen customer engagement
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of work-related experience (preferred, not required)
- Qualities for Success: Professionalism, positive attitude, self-motivated, collaborative, leader, proactive.
- Proven track record in strategic sales, relationship management, service delivery and/or the sales of technology products and services
- Success will be driven by your ability to gain new business wins and an understanding of the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) and BPO environment and up to date on market trends to position SS&C’s programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers
- Strong sense of urgency, with the drive and knowledge to navigate multi-level relationships with complex customers.
- Deep understanding of needs-based selling strategies and ability to uncover underlying customer objections and concerns.
- Ability to think strategically and create plans unique to a prospect
