Purchasing & Logistic Coordinator

Clear Ocean Seafood is a CFIA and FDA registered seafood wholesaler and manufacturer in Richmond BC. Clear Ocean’s 20+ years of expertise with frozen scallop production ensures our customers are provided with direct access to continuous year-round supply.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Measure and design the dimensions of the inner and outer packaging materials according to the packaging specification requirements of the sales orders

2. Verify packaging material samples before purchasing, and ensure the dimensions and quality to meet both production packaging and warehouse palletizing requirements

3. Negotiate price and terms; place purchase orders, schedule and track delivery times

4. Plan item transferring between warehouses in order to meet production and sales requirements

5. Coordinate with warehouses and shipping forwarders to ensure on-time delivery of materials

6. Liaise with public warehouses, and reconcile discrepancy

7. Search in market for potential suppliers, and ensure to better meet our needs and long-term cooperation conditions

8. Works closely with shipping forwarders to obtain the best rates & services

9. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in a related field
- At least 2 years of Purchasing Experience
- Good family responsibilities and work ethics
- Well organized, detail oriented with good time management skills
- Working experience in food industry is an asset.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin. Cantonese and other languages are assets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
- PR or Canadian citizen.

Annual Compensation: $45,000~60,000 (negotiable depending upon experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
