Advantage Box is looking for an **Operations Specialist **to join its growing team We are looking for someone who has a great attitude, is a team player, and wants to work for a company that appreciates hard work and rewards great results.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
- **Responsibilities**: Purchasing, logistics planning and tracking, client communications
- **Employment**: Full-Time, up to 40 hours per week
- **Hours**: From 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- **Location**: 2080 Van Dyke Place, Richmond, BC

**KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Use the company's inventory management system to plan and place purchase orders
- Maintain the company's tracking files for container movements and processing
- Communicate with the company's vendors and clients regarding deliveries
- Dispatch carriers and drivers and prepare bills of lading for deliveries

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Previous experience in a purchasing role, logistics role, and/or experience working at a freight forwarder or freight broker
- Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise skills and asset
- A proactive approach to problem solving and a high degree of self-initiative
- Clear communication abilities in English - both verbal and written
- A mature and professional demeanor

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- Logistics and/or Purchasing: 1 year (required)
