The Production Coordinator will take on the day-to-day tasks, communicating directly with vendors, ensuring the production cycle is followed in a timely manner, facilitating the product development process, and ensuring Giant Tiger quality standards are met. They will work with vendors on various matters and ensure that the Giant Tiger vision is well represented in the end product **Production Coordinator, Job Highlights**: Communicate and educate vendors on Giant Tiger direct import standards Coordinate the product development cycle to ensure timeliness and deliveries are met Obtain quotes, quality samples, pre-production samples and/or production samples from vendors; Process quotes, data and other related documentation Track and monitor production, follow up with suppliers on samples and other related items Review and action quality control reports Work with vendors to effectively resolve product and production issues Follow-up with vendors on vessel booking to ensure on-time delivery to shipping ports **Production Coordinator, Key Qualifications**: 0-3 years experience Great communicator, verbally and in writing Detail-oriented with a drive to "get it right" and use a solution based way of working Time management, organization, and prioritization skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A strong work ethic, enjoys working in a fast paced and adaptable environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products Experience working and communicating with overseas vendors an asset
