**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Public Relations Intern to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans to build our company's reputation and promote our brand from the ground up. You will work closely with a small team to manage all aspects of public relations, including media relations and community outreach.

**Duties**:

- Develop and execute a concise public relations strategy to build brand awareness
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, podcasts and journalists to secure positive media coverage
- Write and edit press releases, speeches, articles and other communication materials
- Conduct research to identify key trends and topics relevant to our industry
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
- Plan and coordinate press conferences, interviews, and other media events
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public perception of our company
- Participate in the development of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters and website content
- Manage the public relations budget and allocate resources effectively

- Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in public relations
- Solid work ethic and a real desire to learn, grow and succeed
- Excellent awareness of what the PR process entails and how to reach our objectives
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities

**The Desirables**:

- Post-secondary education in communication, PR or marketing
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in conducting research and analyzing data
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
- Fluency in X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
