The company specializes in power consumption optimization, mining farm construction, all-inclusive miner hosting, and colocation services. Additionally, MiningSky pursues self-mining in North America. Our team consists of partners with decades of experience in corporate finance, business development, marketing, and technology. **THE OPPORTUNITY** As a Public Relations Manager at MiningSky, you will cultivate a strong industry network, increase visibility and build an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communications and media relations programs. **WHAT YOU"LL DO** - Develop marketing communications plans, including strategies, objectives, budgets and tactics - Develop media relations strategy and seek senior level positions in print, broadcast and online media - Coordinate all public relations activities - Direct social media teams to engage audiences through traditional and new media - Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new connections in business and industry media - Manage media inquiries and interview requests - Create content for press releases, bylines and keynote speeches - Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis - Continually evaluate partnership, sponsorship and advertising opportunities - Build relationships with thought leaders to increase industry visibility - Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations on communication strategies around them **WHAT YOU NEED** - Experience in PR work required - Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns - Strong relationships with local and national business and industry media - Experience as a corporate spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in broadcast and print media interviews - Excellent writing and editing skills - Extensive social media experience, including blogging, Facebook, Twitter, etc. - Event planning experience - BA/MA degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related discipline **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: All staff are required to wear a mask, workplace areas are sanitized frequently **Experience**: - administrative assistant: 3 years (preferred)
