**About the Role**:
Reporting into our Director of Corporate Communications, Planful is looking for a **Public Relations Manager** to support our corporate communications activities and manage our public relations program. This role is highly visible and requires cross-functional collaboration across many teams within and outside of the marketing department. Help us tell the Planful story in a way that engages key audiences, with the goals of delivering a measurable impact to the business, while increasing our global awareness.

This role is based out of North America and is fully remote, so occasional travel will be required.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Increase awareness of Planful as the leading platform for Financial Performance Management.
- Public relations program execution, including: content creation and management (writing press releases,, media bylines, social media content, and more), press release staging on Planful's website, and press release set up on PR Newswire.
- Drive communications for new product launches, awards, and announcements to educate the market on Planful's technology and success.
- Support internal and external communications and media relations.
- Maintain direct alignment with the Executive team and stakeholders by supporting their brand building initiatives, helping with internal and external communications, and social media profiles.
- Proactively research relevant press/media opportunities for Planful
- Assist in the planning, promotion, and execution of our in-person annual User Conference (support AR / PR track planning, assist in social execution pre & post event, etc).

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 1 years experience managing Public Relations or Corporate Communications programs (including internal and external communications).
- Experience creating content for a Public Relations program (writing press releases, bylines, and interview prep documents, facilitating writing calls, supporting media interviews, etc)
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- You're an expert storyteller who thrives on telling compelling stories to capture the attention of multiple audiences.
- Strong project management/organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives at once.
