We’re looking for our next **Event Sales Administrator**
As the **Event Sales Administrator**, you will be responsible for supporting the Distillery Events sales team in selling Distillery Events venues and catering services and coordinating assigned client event details. You will ensure superior end-to-end client and guest experience while driving team and individual revenue and profitability goals.
This role will also play a pivotal role in supporting the broader sales team on a day-to-day basis in administration and some Client engagement may include managing event package paperwork and menu printing, office assisting with site visits, booking Client tastings, answering inquiries, supporting vacation coverage, supporting some special event project work.
This role is a **6-month contract** with the option to extend, based on volume of work. There is an expectation of a 5-day work week with select weekend support on request only.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Producing event-specific operation packages and menu printing.
- Responding to incoming client requests in a thorough and timely fashion.
- Implementing departmental procedures and policies that ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience
- Scheduling menu tastings and detailing meetings with direct clients and assigned planners.
- Supporting special Client groups with regular and milestone communication.
- Conducting site tours/visits with existing and potential clients as requested.
- Completing administrative support tasks such as maintaining calendars, answering phones and routing to appropriate sales staff, drafting and issuing meeting notes.
- Participating in sales stream and large-project development strategy and project development groups as assigned.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
**What you’ll bring to the event**:
- **CURIOSITY.** You possess a curious mindset and ability to ask questions to learn (past and present) about the venues, restaurants, the DRC and the Distillery Historic District.
- **THE DETAILS.** You have strong administrative and skills with an eye for detail.
- ** TEAMWORK.** You work well within a team environment and would describe yourself as possessing exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skillz.
- ** TIME MANAGEMENT. **You work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. One of your strengths is prioritizing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously
- ** COMMUNICATION.** You have exceptional verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal sales skills.
- ** EDUCATION. **You have experience within the hospitality industry with a focus on event sales, event management, catering and/or client relationship outreach. It’s considered an asset if you’ve studied Hospitality, Business Management, Event Planning, or Marketing.
