**About Us**

Reid’s Distillery is a family-owned craft gin distillery located in the heart of Toronto. We specialize in small-batch spirits made with care, creativity, and precision. We’re growing fast and are looking for a skilled and motivated **Distillery Production Manager** to lead our production team and help scale our operations without compromising on quality.

**Position Overview**

As the **Distillery Production Manager**, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing a team of Distillery Hands, ensuring equipment is running efficiently, and maintaining strict quality and food safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management with operational oversight — ideal for someone with experience in food or beverage manufacturing, especially in alcohol or spirits.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily production schedules to meet output, quality, and packaging targets.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Distillery Hands.
- Ensure all production follows food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
- Oversee maintenance and operation of distilling, packaging, and facility equipment.
- Track raw materials, finished goods, and packaging inventory.
- Maintain accurate production logs and batch records for compliance and traceability.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to increase production efficiency.
- Collaborate with ownership and cross-functional teams on production planning, product development, and continuous improvement projects.
- A passion for research and development of new products and product lines.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in food, beverage, or alcohol production.
- Previous leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial equipment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in distilling, brewing, or spirits production is a very strong asset.
- Comfortable with physical work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
