**Job description - Administrative Assistant**
We are seeking a detail-oriented, and dynamic individual to collaborate with our team this summer. The administrative duties will revolve around the facilitation of virtual/in-person learning sessions in addition to the management and distribution of information between students, parents/guardians, tutors and executive officers. This generally includes hosting virtual meetings, sending and receiving correspondence, and maintaining files.
Job tasks & responsibilities assigned by the Project Coordinator may include:
Communication
- Assist with social media presence and online marketing
Scheduling Meetings & Events
- Facilitation of virtual educational sessions
- Hosting & managing virtual meetings
- Tutor & student attendance
Records & Systems
- Maintain digital files, images & reports
- Take detailed board meeting notes
Financials (under supervision)
- Making purchase orders on organisation’s behalf
- Managing bookkeeping responsibilities
- Payroll management
- Assisting with grant searches and proposals
**Requirements**:
- Advanced communication skills
- Vulnerable sector check (once hired)
**Experience**:
- College diploma Preferred.
- Administrative Assistant experience preferred
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Pay: $17.50 per hour**
