**Responsibilities Include**:

- Develops and maintains the integrity of student electronic and hard copy registration and personal-attribute records of all past and present students.
- Reviews, audits and verifies the accuracy of each student’s academic history and updates records or makes changes as authorized by the Academic staff
- Plan and implement class registration processes, including designing specialized academic calendars per student academic requirements and course delivery/scheduling
- Manage the orientation process, including support of the International Liaison Office by scheduling presentations and events, hiring ambassadors, and creating orientation schedule
- Work with other administrators to coordinate times and locations for classes, and resolving scheduling conflicts when required
- Support the graduation audit and convocation processes by auditing students’ course records against curriculum requirements for the purposes of clearing the student for graduation and producing the student’s credentials
- Compile enrollment statistics, honors lists, transcripts and class rankings
- Maintain an accurate record of students' tuition payments
- Recommend useful technological updates and implementations to create a more efficient work environment.
- Become familiar with college academic policies when advising students on how to meet distribution and graduation requirements and resolving issues related to individual academic records, such as credit attribution.
- Communicate with staff and faculty on an ongoing basis on any changes that affect a student status
- Work with the Academic Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Directors on Academic counselling and discipline; including Academic Offences
- Liaise with the International Department and Registrar’s department to ensure that processes are optimal
- Manage Student Council & Student Activities
- Work occasional evenings and weekends as required
- Other duties as Required

**Minimum Qualifications**

**Education**

**Experience and Skills**
- A minimum of two years of practical experience in a complex customer service environment that includes financial transactions.
- Proficiency of database and record keeping principles
- Use of initiative both in planning of work and in taking a proactive approach to addressing customer concern
- Providing adequate follow up to complaints and concerns
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and customer service skills
- Consistent attention to detail.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and organizational skills are an asset
- Knowledge and experience in a highly automated post-secondary educational environment is an asset
