**The Grandview Concierge**

The Grandview, an elegant inner-city condominium apartment building is seeking a self-motivated and professional to join our Concierge Team. The Concierge is responsible for understanding residents' needs while providing a secure environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the security cameras and answer concierge telephones.
- Undertake a security check of all entrance doors, parkade, and mechanical room.
- Greet all residents and guests and offer assistance with groceries and parcels if required.
- Transport articles to the resident’s suite if so requested.
- Familiarize themselves with all emergency procedures.
- Ensure all daily updates are tracked and recorded.
- Assist residents with sorting materials for recycling.
- Maintain cleanliness and overall care for the main floor.
- Remove the snow from the front entrance.
- Coordinate contractor workers with the building operator manager
- Accept deliveries.
- Previous experience working in a similar role, minimum 5 years an asset.
- Follows established procedures and policies.
- Discretion and confidential manner a must.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good physical condition (must be able carry groceries, suitcases to and from entrance to elevator, walk stairs, shovel snow in entrance if required).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer software and security systems.
- Willing to provide a clean security/background check.

Work Schedule

The position is for a concierge consisting of rotating four 12 hours shifts (7 - 7) followed by four days off.

**Benefits**:

**Salary**: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
