**SALARY RATE- Starting at $ 55,000 per year**
**FULL TIME HOURS**:
- 5 shifts per week (most weekends)
- 8-hour shifts between 8:30am
- 5:30pm but flexible based on departmental needs
- This position is a year-round fixed salary, but with reduced hours in the non-winter months:
- Oct 1st to March 31st - 40 hours per week
- April 1st to Sept 31st - 24 hours per week
**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
The incumbent is a member of Resort Services leadership team and sets the cultural tone that creates revolutionary guest experiences while uniting their team around purpose and fun. The Manager, Rentals and Repairs is responsible for the operational, financial and employee performance of the Rentals & Repairs departments. They will ensure departmental operations run efficiently while maintaining high levels of guest service at all times.
- Overall responsibility for measures to improve work methods, quality of service and working conditions to elevate the guest and employee experience.
- Review effectiveness of departmental operations, manage labour costs, oversee and support scheduling duties, enforce policies, prepare reports and advise senior management of trends in their areas.
- Manage the performance of the team through meaningful coaching, performance feedback, and employee relations support.
- Work with the Marketing department to communicate products and drive sales to optimize revenues.
- Promotes, develops, participates and delivers programming and training that unites employees around purpose and fun resulting in high employee engagement, retention and return rates.
- Liaise with Human Resources to develop recruitment and retention strategies and hire the right people.
- Based on defined expectations, ensures appropriate resources and develops training and communication for departmental service delivery and operations that create revolutionary guest experiences and achieve goals.
**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- 5+ years of leadership experiences in a customer service setting, preferably in the resort/recreation industry
- Previous experience managing an annual sales budget of at least $2 million.
- Experience in equipment rentals an asset
- G-License required
