**Position Overview**:
We are an MSP company based out of central Alberta in search of a Systems Administrator to help manage client networks and servers, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. You'll provide proactive support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver strategic IT solutions. This position will require remote and on-site attendance at customer sites, unless deadlines are set, we are flexible when on-site work is required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- End user support submitted via support channels
- Manage client network infrastructure (routers, firewalls, switches, wireless).
- Manage cloud antivirus solutions customers utilize
- Maintain client on site server/workstation environments (domain and none domain).
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Perform regular network and server performance assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary optimizations.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure client networks and servers are protected against emerging threats.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct periodic testing to ensure business continuity in the event of a system failure or data breach.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement integrated solutions for clients.
- Provide training and technical guidance to clients and internal staff on network and server management best practices.
- Participate in project planning and implementation, including network upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring mínimal disruption to client operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Diploma in IT field.
- Minimum 3 years IT services experience.
- Strong ability to manage time effectively
- Meticulous and organizated
- Fast learner in understanding how a client operates and procedures
- Strong technical skills in networking, security, and server administration.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and multitask effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous organization and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of managing complex tasks and projects with precision.
- Driver's license - Class 5
- Experience with Microsoft Azure management - preferred
- Relevant certifications - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+
- Optional - CCNA, MCSA

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Network administration: 3 years (preferred)
