**Job Title**: Social Media Manager

**Location**: Calgary/ Remote

**Company Overview**: Lions Den Capital is focused on promoting and educating individuals on opportunities to earn between 8% and 18% by lending money on private mortgages in Western Canada. We are a dynamic and growing company, passionate about providing our audience with valuable, engaging, and educational content across various platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, create, and manage content for our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Plan and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and follower growth
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with our community
- Collaborate with the team to create compelling video content for social media and YouTube
- Regularly update and maintain the company’s website with fresh content
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools to ensure the company’s social media presence is innovative and effective

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
- Experience in content creation, including graphic design, video production, and copywriting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Passion for social media, digital marketing, and staying ahead of industry trends

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the finance or mortgage industry is a plus
- Knowledge of video editing software
- Experience with social media management tools
