**Job Description**:
The Events & Education Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly’s mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Events & Education Manager.
- Plans, schedules and executes events including cooking classes, wine tastings, brand partnership events and other activations inside La Scuola
- Participates in organizing storewide events
- Oversees Associate(s) in execution of events including check-in, prep, set-up and tear down
- Facilitates communication between customers or clients, chefs, beverage managers and other relevant department members including ordering of product
- Writes and monitors class descriptions; creates class registration pages online
- Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events
- Coordinates delivery of product for virtual events
- Performs other duties as required or assigned

**Qualifications**:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in restaurant operations, marketing or event planning
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
- Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of platforms like Eventbrite an asset

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Smart Serve Certification
