**EVENT / VENUE SUPERVISOR - THE DESIGN EXCHANGE**

As we continue to grow in this exciting and fast paced environment, Eatertainment provides an excellent opportunity for you to learn from the experts With our amazing loft office and test kitchen working side by side, the Event Supervisor will be a part of the team and get first-hand experience of how events are run.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- On site event set-up and tear down supervision
- On-site venue and client management
- Liaise with staff and third-party suppliers (rentals, etc)
- Liquor inventory and controls at events SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills, including writing and speaking
- Fantastic customer service and high expectations for quality
- Experience with food and beverage service
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and accomplish tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and have excellent organizational skills are a must
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example will be key
- Having a driver's license is not required, but it could be helpful
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry in operations
- Preferably experience with catering and event operations
- Flexibility to work in the mornings, evenings, and weekends for events
- Post-secondary education with hospitality, food and beverage or hotel management would be a benefit COMPENSATION
- $26 to $32 per hour based on level of experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
