**Why this role is significant**

As a Night Auditor, you play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion and accurate accounting of all daily sales transactions, while also overseeing resort operations overnight. Utilizing excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking, you resolve any imbalances in cash-outs, floats, and sales transactions. You serve as the face of the resort in all guest interactions, ensuring their concerns are promptly acknowledged and addressed.

**Please note that this position is 16 hours per week (11pm - 7am, Friday and Saturday), with the opportunity to supplement hours through additional front desk evening shifts.**

**A day in the life**
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Handle reservations, including booking modifications and cancellations, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Coordinate guests stays by booking rooms, dining reservations, and spa bookings.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Documents all conversation with guests, their requests, and details for their stay.
- Handle phone system operations gracefully and effectively.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of resort facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues and exceeding expectations.
- Secure property using property arm and alarm systems.
- Complete cash details for all departments and close all terminal batches.
- Balance all departmental floats and prepare bank deposits, roll over day on POS.
- Follow established cash handling and cash out procedures.

**What you bring to the team**
- You have at least 2 years of previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
- You possess a professional, warm, and graceful presence.
- Your strengths include strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- You have proficient mathematical skills and are adept with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- You demonstrate effective, efficient, and professional communication skills.
- You bring an open-minded approach and eagerness to learn new skills.
- You can work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in a guest services or night audit position is preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a bonus
- You have the flexibility to work overnight shifts (11pm to 7am), including weekends and holidays.
