The Night Auditor is a key individual during the overnight shift, performing the regular duties required of a Front Desk agent as well as specific additional night audit duties.

This is a part time position, minimum of 2 shifts per week plus coverage for holidays and other potential shifts required.

(Regular scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday night, 11:15PM to 7:15AM).

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide customer service and handle administrative duties, such as the check-in and check-out of guests, handling guest concerns, assisting with the arrivals and departures of groups and tours, and luggage storage.
- Assist with necessary day to day operations of the Front Office.
- Work closely with the accounting department.
- Daily accounting data entry and reconciliations.
- Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and registration, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guest complaints.
- Follow established procedures and policies when completing tasks.
- Act as an Ambassador for the Chateau Victoria Hotel and Suites.
- Handle cash, credit and debit card transactions.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 or more year’s previous hotel experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Must be able to work overnight shifts.
- Accounting, cash handling, and shift balancing experience an asset.
- Knowledge of reservation operating systems is an asset.
- Proven organization, communication and multi-tasking skills required.
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills and professionalism along with a positive personality and high level of energy.
- Must work well in a team environment and respond well to direction.
- Experience with conflict resolution an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $18.66-$23.00 per hour
