**REPORTS TO**: General Manager

**SCOPE OF POSITION**:
The Leasing Manager is responsible for leasing the rental suites to maintain optimal occupancy levels in the retirement home.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**MARKETING AND OCCUPANCY**:

- Develops, promotes, and implements initiatives to ensure optimal occupancy is achieved for the business
- Conducts tours; provides information to the general public and community organizations, and follows up on leads in a timely manner
- Develops relationships with hospital and care providers
- Leasing of the rental units in the retirement home
- Manages and coordinates resident move-ins

**RESIDENT RELATIONS**:

- Participates in the orientation of new residents to ensure a smooth transition to the home

**OTHER**:

- Is aware of employees’ and supervisor’s responsibilities and follows all health and safety policies and procedures

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- **Experience in retirement home sector or social worker in a hospital setting**
- Experience in sales and/or customer service (preferably in a managerial role).
- Experience working with seniors
- Any post-secondary education related to sales & marketing is an asset

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Effective interpersonal leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to network and promote services
- Ability to multi-task.
- Creative thinker
- Customer service focused
- Computer literate
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
