**Permanent residency within 120 km of the Fort Saskatchewan facility is a condition of employment.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and lead contracted services as required or assigned.
- Execute and / or assist with critical work package development, pre-job meetings, post-job reviews, job site inspections, and contractor audits.
- Assist with on-site work scoping and estimating for various contractor services.
- Develop and review work packages per accepted process.
- Follow and adhere to work management processes, utilizing Plains CMMS.
- Review and validate work scope and estimates submitted by contractors.
- Oversee elements of large maintenance projects.
- Develop target completion dates for planned work.
- Ensure compliance with Contractor Management Program and manage approved vendors. Serve as focal point for facility stakeholders to engage contractor services.
- Collaborate with Facility Projects group.
- Provide competent oversight of assigned preventative maintenance duties.
- Engage stakeholders for planning and scheduling of assigned scopes.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as Logistics Coordinator for outages.
- Assist with budget development and forecasting within areas of responsibility.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Certified interprovincial journeyman in a Plains-relevant trade: Steamfitter/Pipefitter, Industrial Electrician, Instrumentation and Control Technician, Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or relevant 2-year Technical Diploma required.
- 5 years’ maintenance experience in an operating oil and gas facility.
- 5 years’ project management experience in an operating oil and gas facility.
- Ground Disturbance Level 2 with 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in administration of budget development and controls.
- Strong awareness of procurement principles.
- Project planning experience an asset.
- Vendor management experience an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of Maximo or relevant CMMS.
- Background in Earthworks / civil maintenance would an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Capable of climbing ladders and stairs.
- Standard site qualifications: H2S Awareness, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSE required.
- Primary residency within 120 KM of the Fort Saskatchewan.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks.
- Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.
