**Company Overview**:
Systems Scaffolding is a division of the Breck Construction Group of Companies, which provide a range of construction services in multiple industries including the mining, construction, and oil & gas markets. Breck specializes in major projects at heavy industrial plants and is experienced in long-term maintenance, boiler inspections, shutdowns, expansions, and upgrading.

**Position Overview**:
The Office Manager position is a permanent full-time, out-of-scope position. This position is responsible for organizing and coordinating all office processes and procedures. The Office Manager is the main point of contact for people communicating with head office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing Systems Scaffolding office by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, and filing systems are designed, managed, and monitored for retention/destruction requirements
- Oversees the day-to-day activities of the office as the main point of contact in the office
- Manage scaffold rental processes and assist customers requiring support
- Provide direct administrative supports as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, booking travel, mailing, and managing shipments
- Manage bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify and fulfill office supply needs, and maintain, manage, and cultivate relations with vendors
- Manage all aspects of the office space/infrastructure planning (moves, adds, and changes to workstations)
- Involvement in purchasing processes, including sourcing, obtaining quotes, and purchasing when requested
- Assist the Scaffold Manager with quotes, projects, client correspondence, and job tracking
- Fleet management including maintenance, repairs, and insurance
- Provide general support to visitors or people contacting the office by phone
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Five years plus of previous experience in administration in an office setting
- Office administration diploma or equivalent
- High level communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Understanding of general account principles
- Ability to work with clients, suppliers and employees at all levels of the organization
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License

**Organization Structure**:
The Office Manager position reports to the Systems Scaffolding, Scaffold Manager

**Working Conditions**:

- Must work independently and accurately in an environment with regular interruption
- At times, must manage a heavy workload while meeting multiple deadlines, adjusting priorities as needed
- Repetitive work at a computer in an office setting
- Some travel may be required, generally within city limits
- Occasionally may be required to work outside regular work hours
