There may be limited travel from time to time as required. **Contract Length**:3-month contract with possibility of extension/renewal **Summary**: Tim Hortons Foundation Camps is seeking a positive, youth centered individual with an interest in youth development and the non-profit sector, experience in corporate communications, and French language abilities. The translation of effective and engaging bilingual communications is at the heart of Tim Camps work across Canada. This role will strengthen our ability to share Tims Camps stories and campaigns, to work with French campers and owners, and to enhance the profile of the Foundation across the country. This position will work remotely alongside a dedicated team of Communication Professionals. **Tasks and Responsibilities**: - Reviews English language material, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into French language, making sure to preserve the original meaning and alignment with the Tim Camps mission, values, and culture - Typical translations will include: social media posts, annual reports, workplace announcements, job postings, handbooks, departmental documents, press releases and website copy - Support for the Communications team and develop French language communications collateral - Support strategic French language communications planning to contribute to the Communications team's goals and increase visibility of the Foundation's work - Participate in virtual meetings as required **Does this sound like you?** - Post-Secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience - Minimum 3 years of translating experience - Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English - Attention to detail - Creative and resourceful team-player with an ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines - Experience and capability using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel **Commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion** Tim Hortons® Foundation Camps (THFC) is committed to a fair and inclusive work environment, and seeks talent with diversity of life experiences and perspectives.
