Business Technology Specialist

We are currently looking for a Business Technology Specialist to identify and lead critical digital transformation initiatives to enable the business to continue to scale and to better support our valued customers.
- **Duties & Responsibilities**_
- Identify/lead the implementation of various initiatives through all SDLC stages including strategy, requirements, process design, solution design/build, testing, training, and solution deployment.
- **STRATEGY** - Collaborate with management to understand business priorities and develop program roadmap and project timelines.
- **REQUIREMENTS** - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operations and capture the critical/salient business requirements.
- **PROCESS DESIGN** - Review, design, and propose new process maps / changes to improve operational efficiency and user productivity.
- **SOLUTION DESIGN/BUILD** - Design/build solutions iteratively while working with technical SMEs and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with implementation best practices and business needs. Develop and maintain clear and concise design/build documentation.
- **TEST/TRAIN** - Develop and maintain testing/training materials and facilitate testing/training sessions with business stakeholders. Provide user support as required.
- **DEPLOYMENT** - Collaborate with management and business stakeholders to determine effective deployment strategies to minimize risk and business impact.
- Provide operational support.
- **BUSINESS SUPPORT** - Support the business including the generation of data-driven reports, technical user help, configuration of laptops and mobile devices with company guidelines, etc.
- **APPLICATION SUPPORT** - Manage solutions including user support, access administration, solution/data integrity audits, service desk functions (i.e., incident and problem management), etc.
- **INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT** - Manage the company’s IT infrastructure including the monitoring, provisioning, and troubleshooting of networking equipment, printers, PCs, mobile devices, computer peripherals, video surveillance systems, etc.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- **Skills & Requirements**_
- Self-starter; Detail-oriented; Result-driven.
- Strong analytical skills. Love for analyzing data.
- Good business acumen with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Technology Management, or related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred. New graduates will also be considered.
- Experience with the following technologies or concepts will be an asset:

- Microsoft Power Platform (incl. SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, etc.)
- Microsoft Excel (incl. advanced functions, UDFs, etc.)
- Basic coding languages (incl. VBA, HTML, etc.)
- Cloud-based solution architecture
- Software design best practices
- SDLC phases.
- The ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be an asset.

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
