Shippers and receivers ship, receive and record movement of parts, supplies, materials equipment, and stock to and from new World technologies.

**Hours of Work**: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

**Responsibilities**:
Shippers and receivers perform some or all the following duties
- Assemble containers, boxes and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods, to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Main internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems.
- May operator forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Process and retain a great deal of information.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift 100lbs.
- Forklift certification considered an asset.
- Knowledge of inventory management processes and best practices.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in both verbal and written communication.
- Strong continuous improvement skills.
- Proficient with Computers, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong teamwork skills.
