**The job**:
We are seeking a **full-time shipper and receiver** to divide their time between delivering furniture and working in the shipping and receiving warehouse bay. As one of Educan’s face-to-face contact points with clients, you should be able to facilitate positive interactions with the schools as you deliver and assemble their orders.

Successful applicants must have a **Class 5 driver’s license** and be able to **lift heavy furniture items**. Experience operating a forklift is an asset.
- We are only able to accept applicants residing in the lower mainland (BC) at this time._

**Responsibilities**
- Shipping and receiving:_
- Prepare items for delivery (cleaning, stacking, some assembly, protective wrapping, etc)
- Operate the forklift. Prior experience is an asset, but not required.
- Load and unload the company truck.
- Assist with inventory management and organization.
- Deliveries:_
- Deliver furniture to Educan’s clients using the company truck (Requires a Class 5 driver's license).
- Unload the pre-assembled furniture items in the correct classrooms. You may also need to adjust the height of the tables and desks to suit the teacher’s preference.
- Conduct yourself in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure that the delivery is signed for and that there are no outstanding issues before leaving.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy furniture items
- Good communicator and a great team member
- Experience with regular delivery driving would be an asset
- Experience operating a forklift would be an asset
