Rate: $24.40 / hr.

Velocity Truck Centre Canada, formally known as First Truck Centre, has an exciting opening for a **Shipper / Receiver**at our Abbotsford, BC branch. This role is responsible to maintain a clean and well-manicured warehouse and document inventory that both comes in and out of the branch.

**Primary Job Functions**
- Shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory of products incoming and outgoing from the warehouse.
- Drive company vehicle to receive and deliver parts when required. Approximately 25-50% of the day.
- Maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition.
- Participating in inventory counts.
- Attend all training sessions to update technical knowledge.
- Proven record of following safety procedures, provincial/federal legislation, and company policies.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in shipping / receiving.
- Hold and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
- Excellent Computer skills to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other computer work that may be required.
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
- Excellent communications skills both verbally and written.
- Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided).
