Warehouse Shipper / Receiver

A locally owned fireplace and BBQ distribution company in Abbotsford is seeking a full time warehouse associate to join our team. We are a long-standing, local business with many long-term employees, looking to add another. This position is Monday to Friday, 830 am - 500pm. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Verification of incoming and outgoing products;
- Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage;
- Stocking shelves;
- Lifting heavy items, up to 75 lbs (periodically);
- Selecting orders;
- Assisting in warehouse safety, cleanliness and waste disposal;
- Unloading and loading trucks, courier drivers and customer vehicles;
- Providing general customer service;

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service;
- Reliable and punctual
- Steel toed boots and personal transportation required;
- Warehouse work experience;
- Familiarity with packing lists, bills of lading, certifications of origin and customs invoices;
- Demonstrates effective time and stress management skills;
- Experience with a forklift;
- Basic computers skills including MS Office Suite;

Wage rate $20-$24 per hour. Benefits include extended health care, dental care and rrsp matching.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
