**POSITION TITLE**: After Market Sales & Support Representative (Bilingual)
**SHIFT**: Day Shift
**LOCATION**: Val d'Or, Quebec
**NUMBER OF POSITIONS**: 1
Purpose of the Role: The _After Market Sales & Support Representative_ position is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, closing sales, growing the business, handling technical inquiries, and providing solutions and support to our customers. This position requires the following proficiencies:
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES**
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key accounts
- Develop and achieve sales targets
- Develop new activities with existing customers and/or identify areas for improvement to exceed sales quotas
- Maintain our AMS records of all sales activities including leads, sales probabilities, future sales opportunities as well as performing quarterly reviews
- Prepare professional offers/submissions and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Work with engineering, after-sales and product management teams to communicate business and product development opportunities
- Work in collaboration with the product management team to develop sales programs and promotions for new products/services/components in order to increase sales and market penetration
- Support the customer service department
- Actively participate in planning the site service and support the department as needed
- Respond to incoming calls in a timely manner and proactively make calls with managers and clients to provide updates on labor availability and work to be performed
**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- Domestic travel is a requirement of this position. Occasional international travel may be required
- Must be willing to travel to our customers sites and perform tasks in an underground environment on occasion
- Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written (a good command of English is required, particularly for participating in training sessions and meetings with the head office, as well as for certain communications with clients. Additionally, several official documents and internal procedures are occasionally written in English)
- High school diploma or a certificate of achievement is required
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a mining or mechanical discipline would be an asset
- 3-5 years of relevant experience focused on customer service and sales
- Experience in the sale of spare parts and/or after-sales service in the mining sector would be an asset
- An understanding of underground mobile equipment and their components would be considered an asset
- Experience with heavy equipment or familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components would be considered an asset
