This opening is for Local's only, no LOA or travel will be provided.

The Quality Control Lead will be responsible for executing Train Energy Quality Management System at a field project located in the Fort Saskatchewan area. The QC Representative will ensure that the work performed complies with construction codes, regulatory requirements, and Owner specifications.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Ensure that Inspection & Testing Plans are followed.
- Ensure that welding procedures are properly followed.
- Maintain the project QC binder for the site.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting materials and evaluate MTR’s.
- Assist with material procurement.
- Maintain welder qualification records in QC binder.
- Installation inspections of piling, structural steel, piping spools and buildings.
- Coordinate NDE, Heat Treatment and Coating activities with third party contractors (if necessary)
- Ensuring all required NDE is completed prior to hydro testing.
- Experience with weld mapping, material tracking and drawing as-builts.
- Creating hydro test packages, witnessing hydro tests.
- Maintaining torquing documentation.
- Conducting PID walk downs, red-lining PID’s and making punch lists prior to commissioning.
- Consult with Owner Inspectors for project inspections.
- Other tasked assigned by the Quality Manager or Project Superintendent.
- Turnover completed QC binder to the client.

**Job Requirements.**
- Minimum 5 years of oil and gas construction related quality control work experience
- Minimum CWB Level 1 Welding Inspector with B31.3, CSA W59/47.1 code endorsements
- Familiar with ASME B31.3 Code and CSA W59/47 Codes
- Ability to review Quality Management System Manual and ensure procedures are being followed.
- Able to interpret PID’s, piping isometrics and structural fabrication drawings.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, codes, and specifications.
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Effectively communicate with Train Management and Clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
