**Responsibilities**:
The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that solar construction projects are completed per the manufacturer, client, and government specifications. The Quality Control Coordinator will oversee quality control processes, use construction software to track progress and quality levels, and report regularly to the project manager.

**Duties**
- Develop and conduct production and quality control/assurance programs
- Coordinate with client(s) to ensure solar construction materials are installed per specification
- Inspect solar construction sites noting any deficiencies and flag for remediation
- Receive shipped material and verify packing list accuracy
- Conduct audits and inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with quality control and assurance standards
- Maintain records of construction quality control and assurance activities
- Analyze quality control data to identify trends and propose solutions to improve quality through change in method of production, tools, or materials
- Prepare and submit reports and recommendations on quality control and assurance activities to the project manager
- Provide training and guidance to construction workers on quality control and assurance procedure
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and regulations
- Investigate client concerns and suggest corrective action

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Two or more years of related construction experience
- Experience with renewable and/or solar energy construction projects preferred
- Knowledge of quality control and assurance processes and procedures
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to pass a fitness-to-work test and appropriate safety training
- Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation
