Must have valid tickets for First Aid, H2S Alive, CSTS 2020 or CSO and be a registered pipefitter apprentice.

"The Material Controller will be responsible for shipping, receiving and storage of materials on the Train Energy job site in the Fort Saskatchewan area. The Material Controller will ensure that materials comply with Train Energy QMS requirements, Owner specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Receiving piping, structural steel, fabricated packaging and other materials that are delivered to site.
  • Oversee loading & unloading of deliveries.
  • Inspecting the received items for damages, quality, and compliance to specifications.
  • Ordering materials and consumables for work on site.
  • Developing receiving reports and updating progress trackers.
  • Maintaining storage and traceability of materials to ensure they are used on the proper project.
  • Review, approve and file MTRs.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Project Quality Leads or Superintendent.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of oil and gas construction experience.
  • Familiarity with materials used in oil and gas construction.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and follow procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with Train Energy personnel and clients. "
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Work well with others or alone.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Safety consciousness is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.30-$33.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
