**We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Winnipeg, Waterloo or London Office **
**Your day as a Business Development Representative**
- Maintain and develop a clean and up-to-date pipeline of qualified leads.
- Secure meetings with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team on prospect pipelines and outreach efforts
- Conduct follow-ups with leads consistently to advance conversations and move prospects through the pipeline.
- Use CRM tools (EPIC) to track activity, manage follow-ups, and report on lead generation efforts.
- Proven experience in outbound business development or lead generation,preferably in insurance or a similar B2B environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
- Organized, self-motivated, and persistent in follow-up efforts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams in a goal-oriented setting.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to identify and solve problems effectively. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
