Job Description

**1 Responsibilities**:
1.1 In this position as the Human Resource Manager you will provide advice and guidance to the Executive Team in developing and implementing our Human Resource Strategy, policies, program and practices. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand our human resource function to a new level.:
**Specific responsibilities include**:
a. New employee recruitment, onboarding, and retention including developing best practices in these areas;
a. Establish a recruiting, testing and interviewing program
c. Conducting and analyzing exit interviews
d. Recommending changes
e. Conduct orientation and training programs
b. Collect quantitative and qualitative data on competitive salary;
a. Maintain a pay plan
b. Conduct evaluation and recommend pay structure
c. Administer employment benefit programs including RRSP and stock option plan;
d. Develop a performance management and development program. Train and counsel manager to perform performance appraisal with their direct report;
e. Ensure legal compliance according to the various laws in effect where Thorasys operates;
f. Revise all current HR policies with an emphasis on gender equity, diversity and inclusion;
g. Maintain employee records and database, updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions;
h. Any other assignments your supervisor may assign to you.

**2 Education required**:
**2.1 University degree in a related program**:
You should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a human resource management role with educational background in human resource management.

**4 Experience required**:
4.1 You should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a human resource management role with educational background in human resource management. Any related experiences are assets.:
**5 Report**:
5.1 Unless designated otherwise by the President or the Company’s board of directors (the “Board”), you report to the President and CEO of the Company.:
