Home Hardware has a fantastic opporutnity for an enthusiastic
**Administrative Assistant** to join our Distribution Centre team located in St. Jacob’s, ON.
Reporting to the Director of Distribution, the Administrative Assistant will be a key player supporting the St. Jacobs and Elmira distribution facilities with a variety of administrative tasks.

**What you’ll do**:
- Regularly prepare correspondence and communications on behalf of the Distribution Management team, prepare meeting agendas and minutes and support with the preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
- Organizing and consolidating reports using Excel and other Microsoft office tools.
- Be a key player of the Distribution team by acting as a liaison between corporate stakeholders such as Merchandise, Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics groups.
- Data entry to process internal order requests.
- Maintain the internal timesheet system by reviewing, editing and updating timesheets for the Distribution Centre Team Members.
- Coordinate travel for Distribution Management including expense processing/reconciling.
- Proactively maintain and replenish warehouse supplies i.e., shrink-wrap, boxes, totes, pallets etc.
- Maintain filing, set up renewal reminders and ensure various vendor agreements are up to date.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience is preferred.
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers and printers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
