Personable Assistant required to support a busy multidisciplinary clinic with an emphasis on quality care.

A Massage Therapy student or an internationally trained physiotherapist undergoing the licensure process

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Acts as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist.
- Assist clinicians with their caseloads.
- Carry out tasks assigned by clinicians
- Ensure the gym area is free of safety hazards.
- Maintain a presentable and organized clinic.
- Assemble chart packages and process discharged patient charts and provider reports.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms, waiting area, and break room, including laundry, stocking rooms, checking inventory, and emptying trash.
- Perform administrative duties such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, etc when needed.
- Perform organizational tasks such as filing, scanning/uploading documents, data entry of patient information, and maintaining records such as approvals and requests from third parties

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to Multi-task
- Able to analyze and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, etc.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Vietnamese, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin is an asset.
- Skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel are an asset.
- Must be flexible and able to work split shifts when needed.

**Education**:

- PTA/an internationally trained physiotherapist yet to be licensed in Canada
- Massage Therapy students

Schedule:

- Casual ; Mondays to Fridays, must be able to work both morning/evening shifts as required.
- Must be flexible and able to work split shifts

Expected start date: 2025-01-05

Work Location: In person

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
