**Safety Administrator**

The primary accountability of this position is to provide administrative support to the safety department.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the safety administration and supporting the Health, Safety, and Loss Prevention Team
- Accountable for the documentation and recordkeeping of all safety related matters including safety files and records, both paper & electronically
- Update Avetta, ISNetworld, Complyworks and Safety Sync to ensure compliance with Client requirements
- Assists with the preparation of Audits including client and COR safety audits
- Review submitted safety documentation to identify corrective actions
- Collect safety metrics and prepare reports
- Assists with developing weekly safety meeting material and participates in weekly Safety team meetings;
- Distribution of safety alerts, lessons learned and other types of communications
- Respond to requests for safety information (internal or external requests)
- Coordinate and maintain records of departmental meetings
- Assist in the coordination of emergency drills
- Maintain office supplies and orders appropriate supplies for the safety department
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years or greater of experience in an administrative Health and Safety role
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Strong MS Office skills are essential (e. Excel, Word, etc.)
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) an asset
- Motivated self-starter
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to participate as an effective team member, supporting departmental/organizational goals and objectives
- Strong work ethic, organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Superior time-management and problem-solving skills
