Office Assistant/bookkeeper

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform data entry tasks with precision to ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Manage phone communications with clients and vendors, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Support administrative functions within the office, including filing, organizing documents, and managing correspondence.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to billing and payments.
- Collaborate with team members in a medical or dental office setting to ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
- Proofread financial documents for accuracy before submission or filing.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and basic accounting principles is a plus.
- Experience in a medical or dental office environment is advantageous but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective customer support.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $750.00 per week
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
