We are an Industrial Distributor that has been family owned and operated for over 60 years We are in search of an outgoing outside sales representative who thrives on making customers happy and helping them find quick resolutions. In our industry, most of our customers 'needed it yesterday' and are looking for service with speed, urgency and accuracy.

The Account Manager will be responsible to communicate to all potential and existing customers the depth and breadth of S.B. Simpson Group product lines & value added services.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management and development of the territory through direct sales calls, lead follow up, and promotion of new products
- Maintaining existing market-share, as well as developing new business to continue growing the territory
- Produce solutions for customers in a variety of demanding industrial environments
- Effectively present oral and written proposals and presentations to customers
- Extensive cold calling will be required
- Updates and other reporting for Management will be required
- On going service and support to existing and future customers
**EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**
- Incumbent will need to be highly motivated with strong work ethic and a desire to be successful
- Minimum two years industrial inside and/or outside sales experience from an industrial supply distributor or equivalent
- Excellent industrial supply product knowledge
- At least one year selling experience, preferably within the industrial marketplace
- Good computer skills
- Valid “G” license and full access to a newer model vehicle
- Must be willing to travel.
**ORGANIZATIONAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Reports in to Branch Manager
- Dotted line relationship with Director of Sales
- Works closely with Customer Service Representatives and Suppliers
- Majority of time is spent on the road or visiting customer sites
- Fast paced environment
