**Business Development Representative (BDR)**
We are specialists in software and consulting that help clients solve problems in Operations and the Supply Chain. World-leading experts in Theory of Constraints (TOC) and Lean Manufacturing. We service our international client base from offices in Canada and Poland.
We develop and utilize our Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management Software Roadrunner to:
1. Implement Flow Management System (FMS) methodology to manage manufacturing operations
2. Provide, SaaS based, Rx IMS (Inventory Management Service) focusing on client’s day-to-day inventory replenishment processes
Currently we are looking for a **Business Development Representative** to join our professional team.
**About the Role**
First and foremost, this is a sales role, but it is not your “typical large team, follow an existing script, BDR” role. Instead, you will work closely with the marketing and sales team and use your previous experience to help shape this position so we can grow the business development process. As such, there is significant growth potential for someone in this role. You will be responsible for delivering compelling explanations of Montera’s capabilities to prospective clients resulting in qualified opportunities and follow up meetings. Prospecting for new clients involves identifying, qualifying, researching, and warming up prospective buyers. You must also be prepared to make lots of phone calls to warm and cold leads.
**Responsibilities**
- Establish relationships with potential prospects and ensure appropriate follow-up techniques
- Work together with our marketing team to identify new potential prospects and gather business intelligence
- Deliver compelling explanations of Montera’s capabilities to leads resulting in follow up meetings
- Contribute to and execute on an effective outbound strategy
- Meet or exceed your quota
**Requirements**:
- A strong technical aptitude
- A people person, with a friendly and positive manner
- The ability to quickly build rapport with others
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to continuous improvement, self-development, and lifelong learning
- A tenacious self-starter with a drive to succeed
- Post-secondary education - co-op preferred
**Bonus Points**
- Two+ years experience in business development type roles
- Expertise with software and / or consulting process selling
**Notes about the job**:
- Base salary is $50,000 + commission
- Targeted income is $80,000K
- Your compensation plan will be reviewed after 12 months and may increase based on performance
- Hybrid work environment - 3/2 days in the office / home
- Full benefits including medical, dental, and life coverage
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
