Medical Office Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the schedule for office personnel: support staff and physicians.
- Assist to prepare for new patients and update files.
- Assist in check in and out new patients.
- Recognize and respond with a solution to difficult or problematic situations with staff and patients.
- Manage the office budget, including ordering supplies and managing medical costs.
- Arrange for medical goods to be delivered to the office.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized office environment.
- Be a role model for the staff; demonstrate professionalism in dealing with patients, policyholders, physician offices, staff, vendors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Analyze situations and suggest actions daily for effective overall management of the clinic.
- Experience in an administrative position and equivalent educational qualifications. At least 3 years experience.
- Required to pay close attention to detail, as well as, a strong proficiency in computer technology.
- one year proficiency with EMRs, ideally with Accuro
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, verbal and written communication and administrative skills and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new skills, and develop ways to enhance productivity on the job.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement to maintain the privacy of patients and staff.
- Wiling to sign an employment contract
**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- St. Catharines, ON L2M 3W4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Medical Office Manager: 3 years (required)
- Accuro EMR: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- Fluent English (required)
