Are you a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a passion for safety and compliance in the transportation industry? Join our team at **Win-Mar Freight**, a well-established and growing trucking company based in Winnipeg, MB. We are seeking an experienced **Safety & Compliance Manager** to lead our safety program, ensure regulatory compliance, and support our drivers and operations team in maintaining a strong safety culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all safety, compliance, and regulatory programs (DOT, NSC, FMCSA, ELD, etc.)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure up-to-date documentation of driver files, vehicle maintenance records, and training logs
- Monitor Hours of Service (HOS), driver logs, and equipment inspections
- Coordinate safety training programs, orientations, and refresher courses for drivers and staff
- Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans
- Liaise with provincial and federal transportation authorities
- Maintain and improve the company’s overall safety score and audit readiness
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and implement necessary policy changes

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a safety/compliance role within the trucking or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations (NSC, FMCSA, DOT)
- Proficiency with fleet management and ELD systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead with authority while building strong relationships with drivers and staff
- Certification in Transportation Safety or related fields considered an asset
- Class 1 DL and previous driving experience flat deck, reefer & dry van experience preferred but not necessary

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
