Creekside Transport is seeking for a Safety and Compliance Manager to implement the company's health and safety policies and procedures. Under the direction of the Safety & Compliance Manager, the Compliance Officer ensures the safety and compliance of asset and freight shipments under his/her responsibility.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Stay up to date with MTO regulations and ensure compliance
- Create Policy & Procedure for the company (Company manual)
- Familiar with all agencies related to transportation and carries the knowledge for attending all audits. (MTO, DOT, IFTA, IRP, INSURANCE COMPANIES. ETC.)
- Identify areas of potential compliance vulnerability.
- Plan Safety meeting for all employees. (operations & Drivers)
- Analyze safety performance, identify and report high risk driver trends/ develop a proactive response.
- Prepare data, format reports, and deliver Driver Quarterly Reviews and report to Management including recommendations for bonuses.
- Prepare documentation as required for annual insurance renewals (trucks list, driver list, etc.)
- Perform “spot checks” on driver PTI on a daily basis. Document these checks and report findings to driver (including recommendations) and to management on a weekly basis in Safety Meeting.

**Job Requirements**
- Degree or an advanced degree in management, or a field related to the transportation industry
- Three years of experience in a management role and five years of experience in the transportation industry
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- A well defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivation of employees

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
