Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health and Safety Advisor. Reporting directly to the President, Key responsibilities include implementing and monitoring safety programs, conducting incident investigations, inspections, audits such as COR, delivering safety training, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards in multiple districts across Canada. You will collaborate with our teams, as well as teams in the fueld to identify potential hazards and develop proactive measures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
This role will require travel and working in remote locations for periods of time across the country.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health standards
- Proficiency in Accident Investigation and Safety Training methodologies
- Understanding of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to industry-specific challenges
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NCSO, RED RIVER COLLEGE) and prior experience in construction, mining, or similar industries are an asset
- Proficiency in technology and safety management software will be considered an added advantage
