**Day-to-day responsibilities of a Purchasing Administrator include**:
- Manage the purchasing process, including creating purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and resolving any issues that arise.
- Monitor and analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new products, and changes in regulations related to the procurement of tiles and stone products.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining purchase records, processing invoices, and preparing reports
**We are looking for someone to demonstrate the following on their resume**:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Post-Secondary Education in Business, Supply Chain or related field is an asset
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with MS Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong eye for detail
