**Role Overview**:
The **Project Coordinator** is responsible for assisting with the execution of projects from start to finish by ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained, materials are ordered on time, schedules are updated, and service calls are managed. You will work closely with the **Project Manager, Field Manager, and Administrative Team** to track progress and ensure that each project runs smoothly and efficiently.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Permits & Approvals**:
- Obtain and manage necessary building permits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Track and update permit statuses in Buildertrend.
**2. Material Ordering & Coordination**:
- Source and order materials, ensuring timely delivery to job sites.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to track orders and avoid delays.
- Verify orders and coordinate any adjustments or replacements if needed.
**3. Project Scheduling & Task Tracking**:
- Create, update, and maintain project schedules and to dos in Buildertrend.
- Ensure timelines are followed and proactively adjust schedules as necessary.
- Communicate with trades, suppliers, and internal teams to align schedules with project goals.
- Maintain and update the company-wide construction calendar to track project phases, deadlines, and critical milestones.
- Coordinate site visits, inspections, and key project events.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and notes are recorded and up to date.
**4. Warranty & Service Calls**:
- Manage warranty requests and track service calls for completed projects.
- Schedule and coordinate warranty repairs with trades and suppliers.
- Ensure clients receive timely and effective service for any post-construction issues.
**5. Communication & Documentation**:
- Maintain detailed project records and reports.
- Support the project team by tracking action items and follow-ups.
- Assist in resolving project-related issues by facilitating clear communication among all stakeholder
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in project coordinating or scheduling within the residential construction or renovation industry (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, permits, and scheduling.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
**Job Details**:
- **Job Type**: Full-time
- **Salary**: Starting at $65,000 per year - negotiable based on proven experience
- **Expected Hours**: 40 hours per week
- **Benefits**: Business casual dress, on-site parking, paid time off on general holidays during regular working days
- **Schedule**: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- **Work Location**: On-site in person at #9, 21415 100 Ave, Edmonton, AB, T5T 5X8
