Job Description: Residential Custom Home Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Residential Custom Home Construction Manager to join our team. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of building custom homes, from pre-construction to project completion. Your expertise in residential construction and your ability to lead and manage a team will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, custom-built homes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of residential custom home construction projects, including planning, scheduling, controlling budgets, and quality control.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating and assigning tasks to the construction team to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs are managed effectively and within approved limits.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and standards on construction sites.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to find appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other necessary records.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and provide regular updates on project status, addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in residential custom home construction.
- Build and keep strong relationships with trades, suppliers and consultants.
- Day to day tasks as they arise.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years experience as a Custom Home Construction Manager
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager in residential custom home construction, with a track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate a diverse construction team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions in a timely manner.
- Excellent time management and scheduling skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage client expectations at all times.
- Red Seal Carpentry certificate as an asset
- Own means of transportation
- Valid Drivers license.
