Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

We're looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working and organized individual to join our team. The applicant for this position should be familiar with some to all aspects of accounting. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who welcomes challenges, and is always willing as well as to lend a hand when needed.
- Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and software such as Microsoft Excel
- Managing accounts payable
- Receiving and recording cash and cheques
- Checking for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings
- Managing transactions for cash and cheques with banks
- Interacting with management, restaurant managers, and vendors
- Process Bi-weekly payroll for restaurants
- General Journal entry processing
- Other Ad Hoc Reporting
**Qualifications**
- Ceridian experience (preferred)
- QuickBooks (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- 1 -2 years of experience in accounts payable (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Post-Secondary diploma (preferred)
**Schedule**
Monday - Friday (flexibility)
Part-Time: open to daytime flexibility
**Benefits**
Co-pay 50%

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
